| May 17 - 19, 2012 | Auditions will be held at Orinda Intermediate School. |
| June 1, 2012 | All auditioners will be emailed notification of those who are Finalists and Runners-up no later than June 1, 2012. |
| July 4, 2012 | Orinda July 4th parade participation for 2011 Orinda Idol winners. |
| July 7, 2012 | Pool and karaoke party will be held for Finalists and Runners-up and their families. |
| July 9, 11, 13, 2012 | Performance seminars will be held for Finalists, Runners-up and their parents. |
| July 15, 2012 | Deadline for selection of Finals song, submission of biography and headshot photo. |
| July 17, 2012 | Orinda Community Park performance for Finalists and Runners-up. |
| August 25, 2012 | Orinda Theatre Square performance for Finalists and Runners-up. |
| September 7, 2012 | Finals rehearsal. |
| September 9, 2012 | Finals. |
| September 16, 2012 | After party for Finalists and their families. |
| September 22, 2012 | Orinda Car Show performance for Finals winners. |
| September 25, 2012 | EFO/Chamber of Commerce Dine Around Town performance for Finals winners. |
