About Birds
The naturally wooded landscape of Orinda and its surrounding area is superb birding country. Nearly 350 bird species have been recorded at one time or another and at least 150 species nest in the area. The BirdHaus project, presented by the Orinda Arts Council, celebrates the birds that inhabit and visit the area as well as our appreciation for art and community.
