Lamorinda Idol 2013

Orinda Idol has been renamed Lamorinda Idol. Lamorinda Idol is a singing competition open to young people who either attend school or reside in Orinda, Moraga or Lafayette. The objective of Lamorinda Idol is to provide an avenue for young people to pursue their love for singing, to bring joy to the community and to have fun!

Audition registration is now closed.

Announcing the Tenth Anniversary of
the Annual High School Visual Arts Competition!

This annual event showcases and acknowledges 2D, 3D and Photography work by high school students who live in or attend school in Orinda, Lafayette or Moraga. The competition features cash awards, merit citations and a public display of entries at the Orinda Library Art Gallery. Learn more...

2013 High School Visual Arts Competition Winners



Sixth Annual Lamorinda Acalanes Union Film Festival

Following are the winners of the LAUFF6, held on April 13, 2012 at the Campolindo Performing Arts Center, which included screenings of 26 exciting short films, each written, directed, and produced by students from Acalanes, Campolindo, Los Lomas, Miramonte, and JM Intermediate schools, and the celebration of winners in 11 categories.

Special acknowledgement was given to The Orinda Arts Council for sponsoring the $500 OAC Young Filmmakers Scholarship Fund to supplement summer filmmaking educational opportunities for LAUFF6 award winners.
